Born in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, and currently based in Honmoku, Yokohama.
After graduating from university, he worked as a stage actor and advertising designer before founding his own design company and engaging in multiple creative ventures. However, a growing sense of questioning?“What do I truly want to express?”?led him to transition into life as an artist.
He began his career as a graphic artist centered on motorcycle culture, and in 2010 launched the motorcycle T-shirt brand “White Tees and Black Moto.”, dedicated to Made in Japan craftsmanship and Japanese art.
Each piece is hand-printed on high-quality domestic T-shirts manufactured by Kume Seni, a textile company with over 80 years of history. The brand’s unique expression and exceptional quality have earned it a loyal following among motorcycle and art enthusiasts alike.
As the brand grew, his reputation as an artist also flourished. He has collaborated with iconic names in the motor industry, including Harley-Davidson, DUCATI, SHOEI, and Keiichi Tsuchiya, bridging the worlds of art, fashion, and motorcycles while sharing his distinct aesthetic across Japan and abroad.
In 2025, he was selected as the official visual artist for “Wheels and Waves,” Europe’s largest motorcycle culture event, drawing global attention to his work.
That same year, in response to the growing demand for his artwork, he founded a new apparel brand, “GRAT.” Through this brand, he continues to explore the fusion of art and motorcycle culture?pursuing expression where individuality and craftsmanship intersect.
